My heart skips a beat every time I see a bearded guy walk past me. I think almost every lady these days falls in love every time she sees a bearded guy, I don’t mean the goatees that look rough and unkept but a nice well-groomed beard that turns ladies’ heads.
This is what attracted me to James, he was tall, dark with
lots of beards of course and seemed so confident. I can say it was love at
first sight for me.
I love James’ bearded look, he rocks it well, he once told
me the reason he kept his beard so full was to cover up his ‘scars’ as he
called them. He says the scars were from his barber’s wobbly hand but I really didn’t
mind afterall the beards were part of the reasons I fell for him in the first
place.
The fear of more bumps kept James far away from shaving for
months and his beard had now grown out of control and now looks rough and quite
unattractive.
One Monday morning, I got a frantic phone call from my
overly confident James’ it sounded very unlike him.
He had gotten a job interview at one of the biggest
companies in Lagos. With one day to his job interview; he was confused on how
to groom his full-grown beard.
Should he go back to his barber for a trim and risk getting more
bumps or appear at the interview looking unprofessional?
